About WAYS Promotions
WAYS Promotions was founded in 2022. The founders are lifelong sports fans who, after attending many of these events as fans, decided to introduce fresh concepts to the events marketplace in areas of the UK and Ireland not previously covered.
Our mission statement is to provide outstanding events delivering unforgettable experiences for sports fans, and we work hard to ensure we achieve this for every event we host.

Our Brand Ambassador
Dennis Taylor
We are proud to present the 1985 World Champion Dennis Taylor as our brand ambassador.
Dennis is highly sought after for his exhibition evenings – you can expect a combination of trick shots, humour and top-class snooker which make him popular with every audience. Dennis is an experienced entertainer who can really work an audience which makes him ideal for any corporate occasion. Dennis will entertain the audience with endless accounts and humorous tales of his time as a professional and beyond.
He is highly respected by his fellow professionals and peers and even in his retirement he is certainly one of the most recognisable faces within snooker. Though Dennis has won many titles in his career, he will be remembered most for his 1985 Embassy World Championship victory dubbed the ‘Black Ball’ final against Steve Davis. This match is always in the top most popular sporting moments of all time, as over 18 million people watched the conclusion of the match after midnight on BBC television.
In the ultimate example of resilience and determination when his opponent took an 8-0 lead in the first session, it looked as if Dennis’s world championship had finished, but he fought back to trail just 9-7 overnight. Few could believe the events of the final session, as the contest reached its climax. Dennis claimed the title on the final black and became a snooker legend.
